Fees and Charges

Tumbarumba Shire Council sets its Fees and Charges charges annually.

These fees and charges are adopted as part of Council's annual Management Plan and are applicable for the period 1 July to 30 June.

There are two options for payment of rates - payment in full by 30 June or in quarterly instalments which are due on 31 August, 30 November, 28 February and 31 May.

Daily interest charges will accrue on any unpaid rates.  Please contact Council's Rates Officer on 6948 9119  if you are experiencing financial difficulties and need time to pay.

Rates can be paid in person, by mail or by BPay.

In Person

At Council's Office located at cnr Bridge and Winton Streets, Tumbarumba, by cash, cheque or EFTPOS.  No credit card facilities are available.

At the Rosewood and Khancoban Post Offices and also the Corryong Newsagency, during normal business hours.

By Mail

Cheques or Money Orders (made payable to Tumbarumba Shire Council) should be posted to Tumbarumba Shire Council, PO Box 61, Tumbarumba NSW  2653.


Please call your participating financial institution to make a payment from your nominated account (excluding credit cards).  Please quote Biller Code 4408 and your 8 digit Payment Reference Number located on the front of your Rates Notice
